Book Review: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

Thanks to my friend's recommendation, I have come to know about this book! I read this about two weeks ago, when a strong typhoon hit our place and we were advised to stay at home. Classes were even suspended. However, this book helped a lot for that day to become less horrifying. I stayed in my room, lied on my bed with my favorite sweater and a cup of iced coffee on the side table while reading this novel.

The book was very much enjoyable to read. I finished it in just a few hours, I don't even remember flinching while reading the book, ha, kidding. I love how Park is half-Korean. You know, I always have a thing for any Korea stuff. Throughout my whole reading, I was imagining my favorite Korean actor, Joo Won, to be Park, though he doesn't really fit with his 'short height' description but yeah whatever. I like Eleanor too and how she isn't so girly. And their story is really sweet: two misfits people who found comfort from each other. It is really good. It makes you reminisce the wonderful feeling of first love.

This is my first try to write a book review and I don't know if I'm doing it right. But one thing is for sure, I love this book.
